I'm amused every time I mention traveling to Nashville in conversation, both before I went and now after, people light up and usually respond with something like "Ohhhhh Nashville, how fun!!". Honestly, having been now three times I'm still kind of confused by this response. The strip downtown is a never-ending party, but it's also disgusting, filled with horrible music and probably over-priced, low-quality food and drinks, but I wouldn't know as this is not the scene I frequent on my visit(s). In the past, nights out included drinks and dancing at Tribe or Play, and this time nights out, well there weren't any because apparently I'm now old and boring. Instead my days were filled with wandering around town, trying to soak in as much green nature and birdsongs as possible.

North AmericaTENNESSEEI feel like this is one of those states that is forgotten, known only for it's most popular city, Nashville. I too never thought it'd be on my list of places I've been but my best friends relocation changed my plans. ArchivesCategories
